David B. Barnes -
CEO
David Barnes has an extensive and diverse business
and technology background. Prior to forming Result
Resources, Mr. Barnes was an equity partner in and
served as Chief Operations Officer for an
international undergraduate college study abroad provider,
Cultural Experiences Abroad, Inc.. Under
his management
as C.O.O., the company grew revenues from 2.7
million to over 8 million, representing a 296% increase over a 2
year period, and upon his departure, the company had
achieved a 93% year-to-date revenue increase over
the same period the prior year. In addition, Mr.
Barnes guided successful efforts to bring the
company to profitability and developed a senior
management team capable of leading one of the
fastest growing companies in the United States as
ranked by INC. Magazine where it was listed as the
67th fastest growing company in America.
Prior to his work
in the study abroad field
Mr. Barnes served as Vice President of Computer
Operations for Franchise Finance Corporation of
America (FFCA). When it was acquired by General
Electric Capital Franchise Finance (GEFF) in 2001
he continued to serve as Vice President of
Computer Operations until moving on to pursue
opportunities in international education. As Vice
President of Computer Operations
he guided the Information Systems department
through tremendous growth as FFCA loan originations
grew from $300 million to over $1.3 billion during
the course of 4 years. His services were critical in
the migration of the company’s mainframe and Novell
technologies to a client server Microsoft Windows
architecture and in implementing unified messaging
systems, Storage Area Networks (SANS), Business
Continuity, and Disaster Recovery Systems.
Mr. Barnes has also been involved at a leadership
level producing positive results for other
organizations such as Unisea, ADVO, Domino’s Pizza,
U Haul, and others during his twenty (20) year career
in the business environment. In his earlier career, he has served as a store opening
specialist for franchise organizations, overseen the
operations of the largest cold storage facility in
North America, and been responsible for the weekly
mailing of over 23 million direct mail
advertisements.
Mr. Barnes’ varied, diverse and successful
management experiences coupled with his extensive
knowledge of the information technology required for the
successful operation of today’s business provide
him with the necessary skills
in the areas of employee management, personnel
development, corporate growth strategies, change
management, information technologies, employee

Dennis Pepperd - President
Prior to joining Result Resources, Mr. Pepperd
served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for
General Electric Franchise Finance (GEFF). Mr. Pepperd served as a
member of the leadership team for this business and undertook and
completed numerous GE technology initiatives the most notable being
Project Canaan. In 2002 GEFF launched Project Canaan, a major
business and technology initiative which converted over $6.5 billion
of loans on to the Chainlinx / Coda proprietary software platform.
Mr. Pepperd led the technology team which successfully completed
this project in July 2003 and eliminated over $2 million dollars in
infrastructure costs. While at GE Mr. Pepperd was certified in the
Six Sigma Quality program and also received the President’s Award in
2004 for outstanding achievement.
Prior to the GE acquisition in 2001 of
Franchise Finance Corporation of
America (NYSE: FFA), Mr. Pepperd served as Franchise Finance’s
Senior Vice President of Technology. Under his management the
company implemented sophisticated proprietary loan origination and
loan management systems that helped the company grow from $200
million in assets to over $3 billion in assets under management and
become the recognized leader in financing in the Chain store market
place.
Prior to accepting a position with FFCA, Mr.
Pepperd served as Senior Programmer Analyst for the Greyhound
Corporation where he was responsible for implementing technology
supporting 3 nationwide call centers as well as implementing a
schedule and fare quoting system similar to the Sabre system that is
currently used by many travel agencies. While a member of the
Greyhound technology team, Mr. Pepperd also served as Security
Officer for Greyhound Lines and was key member of disaster recovery
planning team that designed and implemented a successful disaster
recovery plan for the 9 companies of the Greyhound Corporation.
Mr. Pepperd has over 25 years of experience in
all aspects of business technology with a proven track record
developing successful technology strategies, implementing state of
the art systems, and developing and implementing business
continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery plans. This
strong experience coupled with Six Sigma Quality background enables
him to serve the needs of small to midsize businesses with both
practical and cost effective solutions.
